Friendly Competition
Today was a surprisingly beautiful and warm day. To celebrate Spring finally arriving, we decided to challenge each other to a game of miniature golf. It was a surprisingly close game! Surprising because Nick usually seems to win almost anything we play fairly easily.
Sure enough, after the first 6 holes or so, I dug myself into a 5 stroke hole. Miraculously, throughout the next several holes, I began to sneak back up one stroke at a time. Sometimes getting lucky, other times lucking out when Nick made a mistake (which didn't happen very often). By the last hole, I was only down by one stroke. In the end, we tied. Not a bad way to end the game!
We'll definitely be going back for a rematch sometime soon.
